Over the past decade or thereabouts Yolinda has focused on property law and general practice, both in New Zealand and in Johannesburg.
Yolinda was formerly a Senior State Prosecutor in South Africa and, many years later, operated her own law firm. Prior to joining VINCI LAW she worked at two Auckland CBD firms, where she gained experience in lending securities and property transactions.
At VINCI LAW Yolinda assists clients with all aspects of Property Law (including Unit Titles and new development contracts). She also advises clients on lending securities (including second tier and private equity lending arrangements), Asset Protection, Estate Planning and Restructuring. Additionally, she advises clients on leases and works closely with Vincent Naidu on commercial property matters and on complex transactions.
Yolinda is a "client's lawyer", which simply means that she savours the opportunity to deal directly with clients and places a high professional value on her client relationships. As a legal practitioner, she thoroughly enjoys advising clients and works earnestly in assisting them with their legal needs . She is diligent and approachable, and is unfailingly professional at all times.
Since joining VINCI LAW Yolinda has experienced a journey of re-discovery (of caffeine). This has been a pivotal time in her life because all her years in the State Prosecutorial Service and in the impersonal world of Securities and Finance had led her astray, into the capricious and fickle world of herbal teas and stress-alleviating organic potions. Having realized the error of her ways, and as an act of humble repentance, she has taken a solemn oath to rid her pantry of her exotic teas, digestive cleansing juices and health tonics and to replace them with the finest Arabica beans. Yolinda is now being personally mentored by David Asbury on an intensive 2 year programme to cleanse her palate so that she can experience the exhilaration of every cup of Macchiato and start living again.
